As Principal for Strategic Accounts at CI International, Fred is responsible for directing business development efforts in new and emerging areas. His other roles include delivering client support services in CI International’s key service areas of training, consulting and coaching. He also serves as the lead facilitator for the Department of Defense’s Executive Leadership Development Program.
Prior to joining CI, Fred was the founder and principal of his own firm, Richardson Leadership Consulting, which provided training, facilitation, coaching and consulting services. Prior to launching his firm, Richardson was a consultant for over a decade with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he managed the Leadership Development Community of Practice and managed projects for the National Park Service, Securities & Exchange Commission, EPA, VA, and NASA. One of his favorite projects was serving as project manager for 2014 Quadrennial Fire Review, a joint effort of the USDA Forest Service and Department of Interior.
Fred earned a Masters of Public Administration from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, where he wrote his master’s thesis on the redesign of strategic planning processes in the National Park Service. He completed his coach training at Georgetown University, and is an ICF-certified coach (ACC). He is also a certified facilitator, mediator, and holds the Senior Certified Professional designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).
